ORFS Fittings

As the name implies, ORFS (O-Ring Face Seal) fittings incorporate an elastomeric O-ring at the face of the fitting. The seal is achieved when the O-ring is compressed between the O-ring face of the male fitting and the flat face of the mating ORFS female fitting or formed tube. When the connection is tightened, the O-ring is compressed uniformly, creating a secure, leak-free metal-to-elastomer seal. ORFS fittings offer zero clearance for installation, excellent vibration resistance, and protection against over-torque, making them an ideal reusable hydraulic fitting solution for high-pressure and high-performance applications. ORFS tube fittings and adapters are available in Stainless Steel 316L, with other materials supplied on request.
